My Shabby Chic Flea Market Booths!

Hello lovelies!
I am blessed beyond words to stay home with my kids and run my
little flea market booths for extra income!
I paint and decorate alot of furniture and what nots!
I am also crazy about Hollywood glamour so, I have added so vintage style black and whites.
My daughter goes to pre-school 3 mornings / week, so that is when I work on
stocking and rearranging.
I work on projects at home but mostly it's family time.
I adore vintage linens and I use alot of whimsical curtains to decorate with!
Painted frames and mirrors are an easy sell...there I am snapping pics,
~giggle~
I am working on two more of these chairs and I really want to keep them for my dining room
...I mean really!!!!
I'm not sure the light pink would survive the kids!!!
Any ideas on protecting fabric from lots of little kid eating traffic?
As always thank you for stopping by, I adore all of your comments!
I will be sharing this with

Shabby Vintage Fabric Rosettes

Hello lovelies!
Inspired by my beautiful roses,
I have started crafting up some pretty rosettes to add to my summer tank tops!I tested the out and they are so cute and light pinned to pretty lacy tank tops.
(I don't like heavy fussy pins, but I do love the romantic look)
I am using vintage linens to create lightweight rosette pins and accents.
Wouldn't it be cute to decorate some totes with ruffles and rosettes!
I think that will be my next project!
I am adding them to my tank tops and selling them in my flea market booths for $4 each!
On a personal note, I am starting a whole foods/gluten free diet to add to my health recovery tool box. I am on day three and I already notice a huge change in my energy levels!

Caring for my Shabby Rose Garden

Hello lovelies!
I posted about my Shabby Rose Garden project and I had several people ask me
what kind of "magical" rose food I use.
I bought my rose bush at Lowe's last year,
it is a climbing rose.
I planted it on the south side of my house where there is alot of sunshine.
The rose bush was $30 (a splurge for me) along with it I purchased
Bayer Advanced Rose and Flower Care ($15) at Lowe's.
Bayer Rose care nourishes and protects against spider mites.
The first year I cut the rose back so it would stay healthy.
After it gets done blooming I plan to cut it back again.
I am only a gardening beginner, so I was
surprised by how this rose has flourished.
As always thank you ever so much for stopping by!
Good luck with your gardening!
Big squishy hugs,
Olivia

Shabby Chic Garden Project Part II

Hello Lovelies!
Last season I showed you pictures at the start of
my Shabby Chic English Garden (click to see) project.
I have a small newer ranch style home.
I would love to have the money to build big beautiful porches,
but with my tiny budget, paints and plants are a more
affordable solution!
I used an inexpensive Wal-Mart paint and a porch sealer to brighten up the basic wood.
Here is a shot of Mr. Romantic adding some collected flea market accents!
The paint has flecked off some...but ohhhh that just makes it more Shabby to me!
Last year I splurged and spent $30 on this
pretty climbing rose, I also bought some magic rose plant food that
was a bit pricey but has really helped this rose thrive!
By the grace of God my pretty rose survived my umh umh "green thumb"
~giggles~

I used some mulch and cheap garden stones to create a path
so I could walk out and water my garden in bare feet.
I found this cute little decorative flower gate at the dollar tree!

Really, I just used alot of imagination, paint, mulch, and flowers
to make this drab spot fab!
Thank you for stopping by!
Please know that I take time to read and treasure each comment.

Vintage Glamour in my Flea Market Booths

Hello my darling friends!
I thought we could tour around my flea market booths this weekend.
I took the pictures on my phone with my wee one hopping around...so
please forgive the quality!

I am hot for vintage glamour right now!
Here are some pictures of my flea market booths...

Frames, Shutters and Mirrors are some of my most popular items to resell!
I also add in some "country" flair with old enamel pans and utensils!

I also love to frame pictures of glamour girls to add flair to my booths!
I have a mix of vintage glamour, shabby chic, and country farmhouse.
Pretty eclectic but it is all stuff I just adore.

This is the first rose bloom of the season for me!
I cannot wait to show you how pretty it is when all of the buds pop out.

Shabby Front Porch

Ohhhh, Spring is here!
I am playing in my garden!
I am also on the look out for
gently used "Shabby Porch Decor"
(Pictures of my porch two seasons ago)
I love to find old wicker that is a bit shabby and paint it up.
Cheap pillows ($1) work for cushions.
When the pillows get "too used" I toss them.
I like to over decorate my porch and
then use the extra stuff to stock my flea market booths.
~giggles~
Right now my porch is pretty bare....sooooo.... a junkin I must go!
In other news, I got my hair colored and styled.
I really needed this lift.
I swear my getting my hair done is just what the Doctor ordered!

Shabby Chic Bicycle

Hello Lovelies!
I simply adore cute old bicycles decorated up with plants and what nots!
Imagine my delight when my mom left this bike with me!
I could not resist adding a touch of pink up front with a pretty clay pot.
I have thought about painting it...but I kinda like it in the original condition.
It still rides well and my kids have a habit of hopping on it (display and all)
and toodling down the street on it!
~giggles~
This pretty in pink pot with plants that survived my
"green thumb" is enough to bring a smile to my face.
I am oh so ready for spring!
Gardening, planting, sweeping, fluffing and painting!
Oh the joys and hope of a new season!

Darling Inexpensive Easter Decor

Hello lovelies!
While out junkin, I picked up some darling and so cheesy
they are cute Easter decor!
When it comes to holidays...the cheese factor in me peeks out.
~Giggle~
I found this cute pink fluffy bunny and decided to
add it to my cottage wreath for a little Shabby pink Easter flair!
I also gathered up these pretty sparkly eggs to sprinkle
around my darling peek a boo bunny! In our neck of the woods the pollen count has been ridiculously high...
I am becoming a tissue expert!
While grocery shopping I found these on the go handy dandy tissue containers!
If your gonna have the sniffles, might as well do it in style!
