Tiny Chic Porch!

My tiny kitchen back porch is now Chic!
On a shoestring budget, if you can dream it, you can do it!
I used an outdoor white paint to Shabby up my tiny back porch.
Then I rubbed some sealant and stain over the whole thing.
I was able to add a climbing rose to the left side...a miracle because my whole backyard is rock.
We built a raised flower bed and garden on one side, using logs and fill dirt from Lowe's.
HOT hubby helped build the lattice awning using some salvage pieces we had in the garage!
The posts and Victorian detail added a romantic country flair!
I found plant hangers Cadwell's flea market and painted them white.
I couldn't resist sneaking in some pink detail on the door and posts!
The picture on the left was our before...
The budget is small but my passion for pretty is big!
I can't wait to share more of my garden cottage chic projects with you as they bloom!
This tiny transformation has inspired me to work on all of my yard...it takes patience but I am dreaming and planting slowly.
I will be sharing this with

Have a lovely and blessed weekend!
Hugs,

  2. I absolutely love it!!! So pretty and feminine!! Your husband must be like mine... very secure in his manhood, lol!! Mine loves the white fluff almost as much as I do (and he's built like a football player, hehe). I'm sure he could live without some of the pink, but he doesn't complain one bit :))
Thanks so much for sharing your pretty porch with us!! Keep up the good work!!
    Sincerely,
    Michella

  9. Oh my goodness! You've outdone yourself, Olivia! That is just the sweetest little back porch area I think I've ever seen! What a transformation! I am inspired! I wish you lived closer so we could exchange plant starts! Wouldn't that be fun? It's a great way to add to your garden without spending a penny! I think I'm going to go work in my garden now! Thanks for the inspiration, my dear! Have a wonderful weekend! I hope you get to go do some treasure hunting!
    Best Wishes and Blessings,

  11. Oh Olivia! I absolutely love it. I've been sprucing up my little porch too. I bought a new doormat, and when I opened the door to go out this morning, a load of snails were on my new mat. There were snail trails running right across the "WELCOME" lettering. Not quite the look I was aiming for :O) SueXXX
