Cereal Box turned Vintage Rose Decor!

This week I was blessed with groceries.
Mini cereal boxes were part of the package...
you know I could not let them go to waste!
I used hot glue to secure the top of the box and then I covered the box in paper.
(Wrapped it just like a present.)
I found a label from the graphics fairy
Of course I used lots of misc doo dads to fluff up the top!
I also fluffed up a baby food jar to match the box, it is in my laundry room making money as I do laundry! Giggle!
Ok, probably a little over the top when you start shabbying cereal boxes!
Listen, I am a mommy on a budget!
These little cereal boxes were too cute to toss!
I will be sharing this with

Have a lovely day!

  6. Olivia, I think its wonderful you shabbied up your ceral boxes. Any time something can be re-purposed vs going in the garbage is a good thing!!! It is beautiful!! By the way, I have gone over the top with cigar boxes. I finished another one this evening and will post it tomorrow evening. Have a good week my sweet friend!

  14. May I say that "shabbying" your little ceral boxes is a lovely idea of using something most of us throw out and just clutter landfills etc etc. You, however, have taken it and made beauty from it and for that I deeply admire your creativity. Since my husband and I are on a retirement budget and since I retired early, I must start to rethink ideas such as these. Thank you for your inspirational post today. Happy PS a little late.

I'm catching up today on some of your past posts, and just realized that you say you are having some surgery soon. I'll say special prayers for you, dear friend. Take good care of yourself and I hope you will have a very speedy recovery!
