My romantic pink laundry room ~giggles~

Hello my darling friends!
I have a very small home and I like to make each room feel cozy and romantic.
My laundry room is no exception!
I used a gallon of paint leftover from my pink powder room and went to town!
The romantic veil disguises a large dryer hose...

A glittering pink laundry sign is perfect for vintage linens!

My upside down garden chandy is decked out with some inexpensive Christmas balls for a festive flair!
Pretty baskets painted white hold household linens.
I use pretty table runners and dresser scarves to cover up the very old cosmetic unattractiveness of my dryer (the ole girl works, but why not make her pretty)!
I put a pretty romantic (tag sale find) tree in here to cheer up the
daily "laundry" duty!
Why not?!
Who said laundry has to be boring...
it really pushes me to keep up with the daily loads of my busy family so it stays pretty!

I am of the belief that if we give thanks and do our best to find beauty even in the ordinary,
we sprinkle love in the path of those we care for and encounter!
I hope all of you find something fabulous in your day!
I am partying with
My Romantic Home
and
Pink Saturday

Big squishy hugs,
xoxo
Olivia

  4. Now that's just about the cutest little laundry room I ever did see! Beauty over function my friend... I see that you too put the most non-purposeful pretties right smack dab atop the washer. LOL. I do stuff like that too. Drives people nuts. LOVE it! :D

Anywho, I was totally thinking of you when I made some ornaments for my Shabby Tree. I've never had a shabby styled tree before. If you can come take a look if you have a chance.

    Merry Christmas my sweet friend,
    Shanna

  11. Olivia, This room is truly romantic and lovely! My problem is that my own laundry room always looks a mess, since it is a catch-all of sorts! LOL
You have really chosen beauty over functionality for this room. Love it!

  13. Olivia, that is the most beautiful laundry room I ever laid my eyes on. I need you to come and decorate my laundry room. It looks like a laundry room,........sigh. I have baskets thrown in a corner, paper towels and toilet paper in another corner. I have shelves so high up I can't reach them. I am going to use one of your ideas, on those shelves that are so high up, I am going to get some nice baskets and store my linens in as well.

  15. What a fun room! I've never thought about making a laundry room so girly and pink before. One question though...Does the drying running make the things on top vibrate close to the edge?
    Thanks for sharing!
