Shabby Chic Shutter Shelf

When I look at an item I see it white and fluffy!
Therefore, I have many  "Shabby Projects" hanging around in my messy garage...
This shutter was no exception, it was lonely, without slats, broken and cast off.
(Sounds like the way I feel sometimes when I am blue
that's when I need Jesus and a makeover project)
Here is the before and after...
I used an old lace tablecloth and stapled that to the back of the shutter.
Then I added a white shelf to the bottom and a clear shabby knob to the top!
Some dainty Shabby treasures...
 My favorite limoges teacups
Pretty in pink gifts from my bloggey friends
Ohhhh I could not resist fluffing up this canning jar!
I get carried away with the trims and fluffs! LOL!
Well my sugar sweet friends...have a lovely day!
May God bless your path in every way!
I will be sharing my fabulous pinkness with
Squishy Hugs,

  8. What a sweet makeover! Love it!!! I am so envious of your sunshine and painting productivity! Even if I had a sunny day to do some painting, my stash of project pieces is getting low low low...the garage is actually starting to look clean and organized, gasp! Time to go shopping! Wishing I had more money to spend! I think I am going to venture out to the Goodwill Outlet tomorrow for the first time ever! Do you have one close to you? Wish me luck!
    Blessings,
    Amanda

  21. Olivia,
I just have to tell you that I have 2 similar shutters or frames that look just like this only are stained instead of painted. I was going to make a screen out of them by hinging them together but I really love what you did with yours. Now I will have to get busy and decide what I will do with mine. Thanks for the inspiration!!

    HPS!!
