I had added this pretty little dressing table to "my corner" of the bedroom and used a vintage veil above to give it that little touch of fantasy. I also painted my mirror frame a soft pinkish white...
This is the pretty in pink shoe that I won from Mari...
Above my bed is the sweetest framed cottage rose picture...
At the foot of the bed I used a pretty antique lace dust ruffle to add "vintage" to the bed dressing...
The lamp pictured on my side of the bed is one I found at a resale shop this week for $3, I painted it added drippy crystals and my own creative version of a lampshade and waa laa!
Thank you for taking a tour with me of my Shabby Bedroom...
hope you enjoyed fluffing around with me!
Have a fabulous and blessed day!

Wow what a romantic setting perfect for a bride!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! I recognize your furniture as the same that I had when I was growing up, including the canopy bed! I helped my daughter make some shabby chic furniture for her apartment - so much fun. She is still mad at me for giving my old bedroom furniture to my brother for his daughter! I had no idea then that she would ever be interested! LOL! Great job. Happy PS!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Tricia
How feminine and romantic.

ReplyDeleteYou have created pure magic in this room Olivia! It is absolutely gorgeous! So many lovely things in the space that make it dreamy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely spot just for you. I love the doily lamp shades, but my favorite is the rose picture with the shutters. I thought about doing that in my bedroom. Even bought the shutters, but in the end, I decided not to use them. The look is very good in your room!
ReplyDeleteOlivia this is beautiful. How fabulous the painted mirror looks
ReplyDeleteHow glam!!
ReplyDeleteYour room is so glamorous,I just love how it look like and it's color. How I wish I can make my room as beautiful as yours.
ReplyDeleteI love the lampshades and the way you framed your rose painting over the bed. So beautiful bed. i also prefer this type of bed. thanks for sharing here.
ReplyDeleteI would like to know how and what you used to create the lampshade. It's unique. I recently bought 2 1920's boudoir lamps and need to make (or buy) shade.
