Mel has the most gorgeous Shabby Chic home in Australia and absolutely loves Pink Christmas!
Her eye for decorating and creating a magical dazzling holiday experience is one of a kind!
In Australia they do not have pink Christmas trees so Mel spray painted and flocked her own.
How Cool!

I am above and beyond honored to have many of my best wreaths, garlands, and
pink Christmas ornaments grace Mel's tree and stunning home!
Lovely gorgeous pink lounge in her sitting room with the prettiest pink tree she displays in a white urn with Shabbydazzle pink poinsettia picks I made for her!
Mel is also a talented creator and has been making over pink Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the one and only cutest pink elves you have ever seen!
Her latest craze this season has been pink nutcrackers!!

Pink Candy Cane Tutorial

 Hello my darlings!
I had the most fantastic day crafting with my ultra fabulous Shabby bestie, Lorena!
The sparkles were flying as we turned inexpensive candy canes into magical pink Christmas treats!
I adore crafting, but crafting with a friend is even more fun!
We gathered our supplies and let the sparkles fly!
Supplies:
~Candy Canes
~Pink and White Satin ribbon
~Pearl trimming
~Hot glue gun and glues sticks
~Pearls, roses, beads, bling and ribbons for the bow

 Step 1
Glue your satin ribbon to the base of your candy cane and begin winding it up to the top.
You may want to add a dab of glue after about every three or four winding of your ribbon.
When you get to the top trim off your ribbon and glue it to the top.
I add a pretty rhinestone bling to each end of the candy cane to fancy it up and cover the red and
 white end.

 Step 2
Glue white satin ribbon or pearl trimming at the bottom and wind up and glue at the top.
Leave room as your winding to make it look like the candy cane stripe.
To make your candy cane even more blinged up and fancy add a bow with laces, roses and pearls.

We created several different styles with our trimmings!
They turned out so adorable!
Fun inexpensive way to add that pink sparkling touch to your Pink Christmas holiday home!
Thank you for stopping by and joining in our pink Christmas holiday fun!
Hugs and sparkles,

Inexpensive Pink Christmas Mantel Garland

Hello my darling friends!
This year I wanted to create Pink Christmas mantel that was really full and fluffy using Christmas ornaments and florals!
My challenge was to stay within an affordable budget which can be tricky when you are looking for specific pale pink and white ornaments.
I can tell you that none of the stores in our town had very few affordable ornaments in pale colors.
Soooooooo, I searched high and low for ornaments and guess where I found the best deal on pale white ornaments?
The Dollar Tree!
I found white and gold ornaments and poinsettias, but still no pale pinks.
So, I decided to paint some of the white ornaments and poinsettias with pink paint to get the exact color I wanted!
I used white acrylic paint with a couple of drops of pink paint.
Then I brushed the paint on the poinsettias, roses and ornaments and sprinkled a layer of fine soft white glitter on all of the painted pieces.
I wired my ornaments and florals onto a white faux evergreen I found at Michael's.
I also made my stockings using a pink felt stocking and lace overlay!
I just love decorating for Christmas!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Stay tuned for some gorgeous Pink Christmas Holiday Home Tours!

Painted Pine Cone Tutorial

Hello sweet friends!
I have been a busy girl crafting and getting ready for the holidays!
Every year I have the kids gather pine cones for me.
This year I painted and glittered my pine cones pink and white to use in wreaths, bowl fillers and outside decor.
I love finding inexpensive pretty ways to decorate!
Here is a step by step tutorial of how I painted my pine cones.

Painted Pine Cone Tutorial
Step 1 :
Collect pine cones and mix up your favorite shade of pink paint.

 Step 2:
Spread out a piece of plastic to paint over. Put your plastic gloves on, this craft gets messy. Using a generous dip of paint begin painting the outside of pine cone.

 Step 3:
Next, gently paint into the tips.

 Step 4:
While pine cone is still wet sprinkle with fairy dust glitter. Lay on plastic to dry. Take it a step further and embellish with ribbons, pearls and pretty baubles.
Display in a pretty bowl for a pretty hint of holiday romance.
 Have fun painting pine cones!
Thank you so very much for stopping by for a visit with me!
Hope you all are having a day full of Joy and holiday good tiding!

Heavens Kiss

Every once in awhile we need to be kissed by an angel,
sent from heaven above
wrapped in a guardians love.
Lifted beyond all that may trouble our weary hearts,
to a place of wonder and peace.
Kissed by an angel,
sent from heaven above.
