My favorite chocolate chip cookies

 I absolutely LOVE cookies!
My favorite kind of cooking is baking. I have loved to bake since I was a little girl! Growing up, I would get out my moms baking cookbook and anything I thought that sounded yummy. 
Recently, I have been baking cookies for my sons varsity wrestling team.
My families favorite are chocolate chip cookies made using the chocolate chip 
NESTLE (R)  TOLLHOUSE(R) cookie Recipe. 
I make them with milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. 
They are so super duper yummy!!!!!


INGREDIENTS
  •  2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
Step 2
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Step 3
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Enjoy with a glass of milk or dip in your coffee!

Winter Front Porch

 Hello lovelies!
This winter I have gone with some muted soft roses, laces and burlap to create a lovely treasure to cheer up my front door!
This winter our weather has been record cold temperatures and record warm temperatures.
When it gets warm I have been trying to take some time to work on the outside of my little cottage home.
My kitty, "Pretty Girl" loves to pop into my photos.
All of my white front door accents create the perfect backdrop for 
soft winter decorating.
I was so lucky to find this pretty Victorian front screen door at my neighbors tag sale.

 Roses, pearls and laces are my favorite treasures to create a beautiful soft romantic front door wreath.

Valentine's Day Tea party treasures

Hello lovely dolls!
I am so very excited and looking forward to Valentine's Day!
I have been creating vintage charm with this lovely Vintage laces Victorian cameo Shabbydazzle cameo box!
I found a tidy bit of vintage laces at a resale Shoppe and I could not resist going over the top romantic with this lovely creation!
I also have been creating some very fabulous and gorgeous Teacup florals!
Dazzling and delightful overflowing with the perfect yummy laces, roses, vintage trmmings, ribbons, bows and loveliness to doll up your Tea Party table!!
Delicate and fancy teaspoons!
And now to have a spot of Tea!

Pastel Pink Christmas 2016



 Merry Pink Christmas 2016!
Giggles...
Yes, I know it is Januaury 2017, forgive me my darlings but it was a SUPER DUPER busy year!
I couldn't resist sharing my Pastel pretty in Pink Christmas 
here on my Blog it is kind of like my diary so at least we will have the photos to look back on.
~~Better late than never my loves!~~
 How darling is this cheeky little pink elf made for me by my darling friend Mel Watkins!
I found pretty pastel wrapping paper from dollar tree and then cut up a lace curtain and made an overlay for some of the packages!
 My sweetest most talented Ruffle Queen Rhoada from R hoada's Ruffles on Etsy sent me this over the moon gorgeous ruffled Mrs. Claus!! She was such a lovely addition to my holiday decor.
How blessed I was this year in a million ways!
I cannot even tell you, my family celebrated the holidays together, Birthdays, first high school formal dance, hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas family dinner parties and my little sister Gabby graduated from Art college!~
I was a blessed and busy bee... :)
 I could not resist going over the top as usual with loads of pink and sparkling roses and romance holiday loveliness.
 I made these darling stockings out of bits of fabrics I had laying around this summer and then added in lovely scraps of trimmings. For the mantel garland I started with a white evergreen base and then wove in loads of vintage pale pink balls, frosted white roses, dusty pink roses, Victorian Shabbydazzle ornaments, white roses laces and pink laces!
I was a busy Mrs. Claus this year creating loads of gorgeous Pink Wreaths, Dolls, Angels, Santas and lovely treasures for my beautiful Princess friends!~ Here is one of my favorite wreaths I made.

Pink Christmas preparations

Hello lovely friends! 
I have begun to create sparkling Pink Christmas ornaments for my Etsy Shoppe and hopefully to be ready for the holiday season!
It always seems like I never have enough time to create and decorate everything so this year I am starting early, lol!


I have been on an angel kick lately and trying to "use what I have" of all the bits and bobs craft supplies!
For this darling angelic creation I used a wooden base and MANY hand rolled roses...
Not something I probably have the patience for again but it ended up really cute!
I am already getting ready for Pink Christmas as it always seems to surprise how busy the season is and how I always wish I had more time.
How early do you start getting ready?
