Crafting brings me Peace

Hello my lovely friends!

I have been praying this morning on what blog post to share.

It comes to mind that I have been blessed with a poetic creative spirit and outlet!

This is a little corner in my home that I store my crafting supplies.

I threw it all together for a photo shoot I did for Casa Romantica Shabby Chic Magazine.

Trust me when I tell you, when I create...it NEVER looks this good.

It's always a big mess with sparkles flying!!

I must tell you that "creating", "crafting" and "decorating" brings Peace to my spirit!

It heals the parts of me that are broken and gives me an outlet for my hopeful romantic spirit!

 I get ridiculously excited about vintage laces, trims, ribbons and florals!!!

Ruffled tablecloth

Hello my darling friends! 

I was so excited today to receive the most over the moon gorgeous ruffled tablecloth and throw from Rhoada's Ruffles on Etsy!

Rhoada sews tablecloths, umbrella covers, place mats, pillowcases, throws and over the moon gorgeous Christmas tree skirts!

 I first fell in love with Rhoada's ruffles when she made me a couple of pillow shams from my favorite Rachel Ashwell fabric. 

This is one of the beautiful pillows in her Shoppe.

 Rhoada is not only talented, she is one of the sweetest ladies I know and completely humble.

She is so giving and sweet!

Lady Victorianna Tea Party Wreath

 Hello my gorgeous friends!

It has been a lovely week here in the Ozarks...perfect weather to get out and about, which is exactly what I have been up to this week!

I love to go treasure hunting and collect unique supplies to create romantic treasures with and this week is no exception!

Yesterday, I worked on Shabbdazzling this ohh la la Romantic Lady Victorianna Tea Party wreath.

 I really went over the top with fancy ladies tea party objects!

This is a cameo teapot ornament I added in.

 I also could not resist adding one of my favorite teacup and saucers to this beautiful wreath creation!

 I even added in on of my sweet friend Rhonda's mini marvel cakes that she includes with every purchase of one of her exquisite faux pastries...

 This is the pink rose bow side....I trimmed the entire wreath with bridal lace to give it that magical fanciful effect!

It is almost time for back to school and that means I will go back to creating pretty treasures full time!

I am really excited for this seasons pink Christmas, amazing how many of the craft stores are carrying more and more Pink Christmas ornaments!

Victorian rose cottage

Hello gorgeous friends!!!

I have been a busy bee this week creating new treasures for my
Shoppe and cleaning my little cottage! 

I don't mind cleaning a bit if it also means I get to redecorate....giggles!!!

I have been in the mood for Victorian Romance so that is what I am calling my new collection of pretties...

 I found these beautiful cameos while out and about shopping and I could not resist using them on this new Romantic Roses collection.

I am very thankful for my sweet little home, but sometimes I dream of having someone come and do the cleaning for me....

giggles...

I am a thrifty gal, so I cannot really see the point of it and don't get me wrong, I am beyond thankful for the home God has blessed me with but every once in awhile some help would be nice.

Here is my little cottage all tidied up...

 I splurged this year and found a chandelier at lowes for a good price!
