Honestly, I just cannot ever get tired of the beauty and romance of roses!

I also created some pretty decorative rose clips. I used one to change up the look of my fabulous soft pink memory lamp...

 

  My dining room is cozy and my favorite place to change up decorations!

For Christmas I added a fluffy gold boa mixed in with greenery and a golden swag!

I could not resist the sparkle of these pretty ornaments in an
antique limoges soup toureen!

Pretty in Pink Cinderella Slipper

Imagine how my heart fluttered when this pretty in pink Cinderella slipper arrived upon my doorstep...

 Inside the box was a breathtaking pretty in pink Cinderella slipper, a fluffy pink purse, the prettiest mini pink mannequin, and a darling crystal angel! 

Ohhhh La La!

The note on the package was signed Mrs. Claus!

 There really is a Mrs. Santa Claus and she has FABULOUS taste and sent my present early! 

Giggle! (I am still going to wrap it and open it on Christmas!!!)

Romantic Country "No Sew" Stocking

In one of my Romantic Country magazine issues I read about how to make a Christmas stocking the now sew way!

You know this tickled my fancy since I do not sew yet! I had some sweet Shabby quilted fabric leftover from my curbside chair redo, so I decided to give this project a whirl!

I laid a sock over the quilted material to get an eyeball for the shape and then hot glued the edges leaving the top part open.

I trimmed the right side with a pretty country lace and added a burlap and lace bow to the bottom with a button topper. (I used all hot glue) So much faster and for a decorative stocking it gets good results, by all means, if I could sew this I would! The mini stocking shown below was sewn, i just added the fluff!

This is the cute curbside chair that I shabbied pink and made a new seat for!

So country chic!

 The chippy Hoosier cabinet is the perfect backdrop for that Romantic Country feel!

Shabby Chic Ruffle Curtain!

I have a weakness for ruffles and these darling curtains were no exception!

These ruffled beauties were calling my name!

I found this set of four panels this summer for $4 and put them in my booth. They did not sell so I pulled them out and boy am I happy I did! They look dreamy in my living room on my front windows!

 I am using this pretty scrolly iron bed as a backdrop for my Christmas tree, it also doubles as a tieback spot for the curtains.

Fabulous Glittery Paris Sign!

Hello sweet friends!

I have made some more of these cute Paris chandelier signs!

The first ones sold out in my booth, soooooo, I decided to put one in my Etsy shop!

I took a very ordinary piece of thin brown board and fluffed it up with a Paris sign and a glittery chandelier! At the corner I added a burlap mixed lacy bow!

 I also did a neat tall bottle with a vintage French paper label...

 These jars are a fun decorative way to store crafty supplies like buttons, ribbons, paint brushes or vintage wallpaper!

 I also fluffed up my bathroom with this out of control pink teacup wreath!

Honestly, I cannot help myself when it comes to pink and the glue gun!

Dreaming of a Shabby Chic Christmas!

I am nibbling on turkey leftovers, sipping hot cocoa and

I fluffed up my mantel...

Yummy pink mini stocking I pre-shopped from the cottage sale...

 At the end of my hallway I have created a darling faux window 

to disguise the furnace closet...

 I added this cute silvery tree...

(The tree was formerly white and turned yellow, you know me I CANNOT let it go to waste so out came the silver plastic spray paint I found at a garage sale last weekend!)

Shabby Chic White Christmas Tree

Hello sweet friends!

I have been working some pretty Christmas magic in my Shabby Chic Cottage!

This is the Christmas tree I put up in my living room.

I fluffed up the top with some pretty roses and glittery poinsettias!

  As always, I look at gorgeous magazines and blogs to get decorating ideas.

I really wanted to fill out some spaces above cabinets with garland. I wanted to use what I had so I dug into my Christmas stash to fluff up the top of my dining room cabinet...

Make it Fabulous for Less Tip~

For this garland I used pieces of a cast off faux Christmas tree limb. To get the snowy effect spray tree limbs with adhesive spray and sprinkle with faux snow you can find in a bag for $1 at the resale shops or dollar stores. Add some pretty flowers or beads from your craft stash and you have a fabulous garland for cheap!

This Holiday season I will spend time with my friends and family. This particular year presents challenges that are beyond my control but not God's. I pray as we all find ourselves spending time with our loved ones that we remain patient and kind and lean on God for PEACE!

I think this psalm is pretty and simple...

Be still and know that I am God.  Psalm 46:10
