Darling Shabby Mini Cake Stand! (Cheap!)

Happy Pink Saturday my Fluffy Friends!
It is my Birthday weekend and let me tell you that my friends and Mr. Romantic have went over the top to make it fabulous for me!
(Well, I got a slice of Italian wedding cake, but it tasted as good as this pink beauty looks!)

Oh, I have misplaced my camera but I will show you some of the sweet fluffy goodies I got soon!
Isn't this darling cake mini cake stand below a sweet little thing!
These are so easy to make! I love using them in my booth they are a cheap way to create height in my displays!

Make it Fabulous for less tip~
Look for inexpensive crystal candlesticks and pretty rose plates ( I find mine for about $1-$3 at tag sales and thrift stores.) Use the glass glue E-6000, found at your Michael's or Hobby Lobby.  Glue the bottom of your candlestick to the plate add another layer, you can go up to three tiers if you like!

These would also be cute with mini cakes on top!
I also have to tell you to stop by and check out the most adorable Shabby Christmas Stockings over at
Dear Santa, I have been good!
Please deliver a Shabby Stocking to me, so I can decorate for Christmas properly!
Giggle!

Shabby Chic Dresser Transformation!

This summer I picked up this old dresser (FREE).
It was missing two drawers but I knew if I painted it white I could figure out something...
It really fit perfectly in my dining room!
If you look very closely the bottom two drawers are still missing.
I plan to use a cute curtain valance to fluff up the bottom.
What would you do?

Right now I am loving this arrangement for the dining room!
It is small so it can be tricky find the right pieces!

Pink Tooth Fairies!

Yes, Pink Tooth Fairies really do exsist...
The kids reminded me last year for Halloween I was the Pink Toothfairy! In my vintage gloved hand is a fuzzy purse we put play money in. Of course Mr. Romantic is buffed up in his military gear...

My sidekick kept losing her shoe...
I gathered almost all of our costumes from the resale shops...
What are you going to be for Halloween?

Fabulous Shabby Pink Santa and Teacups!

After getting my new issue of Romantic Country I cannot stop craving a Shabby Pink Christmas!
Who could resist this little cutie pie...
Wouldn't he be fun hanging from a Shabby Christmas Tree...
or maybe as a centerpiece...
I got lucky and picked this little guy up for $1 at a tag sale and then fluffed him up with some baubles and roses.
I am also craving some pink cupcakes...
AND some fabulous teacup ornaments sound DEELISH...

I think I am going to start keeping my eye out for teacup minis so I can craft up some of these little beauties...
Hope you have enjoyed these little treats!
Have a lovely and blessed day!

Touched by an Angel

My heart twinkled with delight as
I unwrapped the most delightful angelic surprise!
The envelope read pink fairy dust inside...
Ohhhh, the excitement in my heart...
The sweetest handmade card sprinkled with pink fairy dust, a thank you card (she won the teapot I gave away)
and a two page letter graced my heart today.
 Sent by Debbie at
Debbie is collecting lace and trim to make these beautiful cards.

I plan to send her some of my prettiest trim!
This card is breathtaking and so full of thoughtful expression.
Thank you Dear Friend!
Happy Pink Saturday to all of my lovely friends!
Please visit Beverly for more pink goodness.

Shabby Chic Cabinet Transformation!

I am thrilled to share with you my Shabby Chic Cabinet transformation!
This darling cabinet has been out in my garage for months...
we started stripping it and then I gave up until I discovered the miracle primer...
We got the majority of this cabinet done but there were still some stubborn green spots...my mother in law suggested to just use a good heavy duty primer, SHE WAS RIGHT!
I used a pretty blue green in the back of the cabinet

and some whimsical knobs to make it a little different...
I am still on the hunt for some cool knobs, but right now these are kinda fun and silly....
Pretty Pink Rose Knobs
I think it is pretty fantastic this transformation is over and I discovered a shortcut to stripping painted slick furniture!
( I used a bonding primer called Kilnz)
This little beauty found a home in the corner of my dining room that I am redecorating AGAIN!!!!
Of course, I have to really fluff up the shelves, I just threw those pieces in there.
I plan to use some pretty cuphooks, mirrors, and my Limoges rose teacups!
Thank you for stopping by!
I will be partying with the lovely Cindy for Show and Tell Friday
and Frugaliscious Friday at

Good luck if your out Garage Salein' this weekend!
Have a Beautiful and Blessed Day!

Lovebirds

Hello Sweet Friends!
Who can resist a lovebird especially a pair?
A sweet thrifty find at .50 cents...
Last week I found the prettiest lacy trims...
I could not resist crafting up a couple more pretty Victorian Cones... I used lots of vintage bobbles and fluffed the top with a mix of scrap booking and vintage music paper...
  So dainty and sweet...

Make it Fabulous for Less Tip~
To fluff up any gift or craft use pretty scrap booking paper or pages from a vintage book. For the Victorian cones I used a mix of both. Just fold them accordian style and then cut in strips! So pretty and unique, works great in a pinch if you are out of tissue paper for a gift!
Mr. Romantic and I will be celebrating our Anniversary this week!
He is my Lovebird!

Pretty in Pink Inspiration and Dreams!

Happy Pink Saturday!
I would like to share something with you...
I grew up in a very small town.
We were 20 miles from the closest grocery store.
We also did not have cable TV.
My world was very small.
As a child I always loved creating artistic collages and crafts.
As much as I loved art, I have always believed it to be more of a ~hobby~.
I still live in a fairly small world.
However, through blogging, I have discovered a beautiful world of talented creative artists that have expanded my thinking toward art.
I read blogs and then see these women published in magazines and it just tickles my creative bone to no end!
Check out this magazine of talented artists when you have the chance...
Two of the ladies featured in this magazine, are very inspirational
and
This magazine is a bit pricey, I really can't afford the splurge, but I visit our bookstore with the kids and devour inspirational magazines while there. Maybe just maybe one day I might get in one of these super cool magazines.
Anyhoo, thank you to all the creative bloggers and artists out there who encourage me through their gorgeous blogs and lovely comments! Maybe my dreams aren't as far outta reach as my little world makes me think...
What fuels your dreams?
Happy Pink Saturday!
Thank you to our lovely hostess Beverly!
 Dreaming of this pretty bag...
