Junk Haulin' a Tea Cart!
Soooo.... this is the cute red tea cart that was supposed to make its way into my Flea Market Booth....alas it bumped around in my car until I came up with the perfect spot to put it in my house!
MISSION: To paint it white and load it up with Shabtastic Goodness!

3 1/2 Cans of spray paint later and a serious visit to the Shabby Chic beauty Salon and ....
Waaaaa LAAAA!
So, some of you might be thinking....it was pretty cute red?! I agree....but where in the world would a red tea cart go in my house???? When everything is Shabbed out and painted white! Well, I adore this makeover even though it took so much paint!
On top I decorated with a cute tin ($1.50) at a garage sale, I squealed so loud at this find my friend probably wanted to hide under a table~
A close up of the delightful tin full of crushed roses~
A pretty teapot I got for free because the foot was broken... I have it propped up in a candle and the lace bow conceals its identity!
Birdhouse above $5 tag sale find....junk inside total cost of about $1.50~ Love the thrifty!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my Shabby Tea Cart! Check back to see why my hands are covered in a white paint mess! Yes, I am blogging and painting at the same time!

Birdhouse Makeover from Drab to Fab!!!
To the right is a very mistreated birdhouse with hot glue stuck to the front and a half painted roof...
Waa Laaaa! It has been to the Shabby Chic Beauty Salon and gotten the works!
First I painted it white with a pretty pink roof!

Then I added a pretty rose decal to the front, I had a hard time getting it to stick so I had to let the wood glue dry over night and then paint over my glue mess. LOL~

It found a home on my entryway table.
Hope you liked it, I think it turned out really pretty...it was super cheap. Thats what I love!
Check back for the Shabby Bench Redo!

~Shabby Addict~
Treasure Hunting from last weekend...hold your breath...only $5 this is a pretty bridesmaid purse handmade by one of my neighbors! Oh so pretty!
The little iron chair was in the ladies front yard at the garage sale I was at this morning... I asked her if she would sell it to me she said ABSOLUTELY NOT! 10 seconds later she said ok...$3... you can imagine what I was screaming inside my head! YIPEE. I kept my cool thankfully!
In the chair sits a pretty pink chandelier... Shabby Heaven!
My Wonky candles, I got 25 for $1 and then realized why.... they are a bit wonky don't ya think!
This pretty tablecloth is really a bed overlay...but it fits my table perfectly!!
Pretty rose plates hung on newly shabbied cabinets! I used old shutters that I painted pink instead of a valance here, I just like to have a bit of a view! Check out the fluffy white curtain above! I have a pretty rose shabby chic curtain I am going to layer on it... my poor husband does not stand a chance. I still have red walls... will someone please come paint them white for me! LOL
This is part of my living room the pretty white cabinet I found for only $15 and the window I painted (3 coats to cover the awful red) and then added shutters! I finally found two pretty plates to go on each side of the platter!
Well, I would say this is a good day of Shabby Shopping! Especially since I have been out of town and pretty much cleaning all day!  Thought I would share a little eye candy with everyone!
Have a Blessed evening!

 My Home!
A Work in Progress....
Ok, I am getting requests for pictures of my home... so here is the cleanest part I am the most pleased with! I promise to post more as I clean and decorate for spring!
This is a current picture of my dining room! I added the clock on the wall that I got for $5 from my wonderful friend Lorena. The cabinet in the corner I flipped upside down and spruced up with some white paint and added the shabby knobs! My chandelier was a garage sale find that I painted a creamy white and added the handmade rose kissing ball. I still need to complete the shades and add more drippy crystals.
This is a pretty arrangement of Pink roses. A little bold but it adds a splash of color!
This is my pretty corner cabinet~
I love the pretty crystal handles on this cabinet... makes all the pretty difference!
Above is my kitchen cabinet painted white...not super pleased with this display yet!
Oh so pretty....but as always I am working to do more with it!~

Treasure Hunting Tuesday!
My best treasure hunting comrade, Lorena!
 Lorena's husband...Action Figure Ted
My Favorite Thrift Store the Pink Door!
This teapot was my super find of the Day!
Well, today was treasure hunting Tuesday and what a day of adventures for me and my friends! We started with our usual round of thrift stores (not much collected on our usual rounds). We took the kids to the park to have an impromptu picnic and playdate and then decided to head out to the boonies to do some freestyle treasure hunting! Lorena found this beautiful rose teapot for me and it was love at first sight... even though it had a note covering the spot where the handle should be which I later found inside the teapot. The note read something like this... Teapot was originally $125 and was damaged by UPS in shipping. I got it for only $2 !!!!!!!!! Of course this made my day! I am going to glue its sad little handle on turn it to the side and call it good. Next we went to a darling little store called Whirlygigs...
Above is the cool lady who owns Whirlygigs, I am going to go back and take more pictures and buy some stuff next time. The kids were making it very hard to shop in comfort.
After Whirlygigs we headed out to some garage sales...one of the ladies had wolves as pets?!?

A little scary for me. I did find some very pretty antique lampshades.
Anyway even though I did not find a whole bunch of stuff I got to go on a nice drive through the Ozarks and have some good times with good friends!
Check back for more adventures!
