Hello lovelies!
What a beautiful day it is going to be!
I believe in my heart we all have so many things to be thankful for.
A couple of months ago my health unexpectedly ushered me into
a "new normal".
Many of you have expressed the sweetest support and prayers sent my way!
Thank you!
In order to save the sanity of Mr. Romantic, my healthy readers and
my doctors I have decided to ramble about it here.
If you can relate to Chronic pain click here
Don't worry my sweet healthy readers, of course
I will continue on with my Shabfabulous decorating projects!
I have been redecorating some areas of my home and
I cannot wait to share pictures with you!
Much love and big squishy hugs sent your way on this beautiful blessed day!
xo

Oh Olivia, I am so sorry that you have been having so many problems. I had no idea. I have been down for awhile and haven't been visiting, its been enough for me to just get things posted on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI know where you are. I have fibro, degenerative arthritis, IBS, vertigo- to name a few and just 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with diabetes. Flipped my world upside down.
A diet of high protein and potassium really helps the spasms and the pain. PT makes all the difference and stretching with weights, not big ones, just enough to stretch out the muscles. A hot shower before bed will help you sleep.
Put yourself on a schedule, and try to stick to it. You are going to have good days and bad days. Bad days are just going to happen and just let them. Catch up on your rest on those days. Watch movies, read, blog.
You will lose so called friends. They will go- don't try to hang onto them. The ones that matter will be there for you. It will be an eye opener for you. When you can't keep up anymore, the ones that never really mattered anyway will not come around anymore.
Hang onto your faith. It is not a punishment. You did nothing wrong. We all have trials on this earth to go through. There are others going through much worse.
You are strong enough to do this. God never asks us to do something that we cannot. He never gives us too much to bear. Through His grace, you will take each step. Through His love, you will endure.
The days are easier to take when you are surrounded by laughter and love. Surround yourself with upbeat, positive people. Surround yourself with things that make you smile. Your atmosphere is most important on your moods and outlook.
If you ever need to talk, or cry, come see me. 20+ years and counting here.
Hugs- Tete
