I have dreaming of a hall tree made out of an old door for some time now.
Last week my dear husband built one for me out of supplies we had in the garage!
Guess my weird old salvage piece hoarding is paying off! Giggles!
Adorable huh?!
This is what she looked like before I shabba dabba dooed her!
He used an old door for the back and an old bed for the sides.
The top has a pretty little wooden shelf!
I added a cute Paris sign with vintage tin on each side!
Of course some yummy shabby pillows are a must!
I painted the seat a pretty Shabby Chic green and pink stripe.
I am saving my pennies for one of those to die for gorgeous pillows
that my sweet friend Brenda over at
that my sweet friend Brenda over at
Shabby Cats and Roses creates!
I think this dainty and delightful pillow below would be perfect!

I will be sharing my pretty hall tree with

Have a lovely weekend sweet friends!
Wish me luck...my oldest is turning nine years old this weekend
and we will be having a Birthday party and sleepover with his friends! Whoo Hoo!

Totally love the makeover....I have come to the conclusion that I really don't have an imagination lol. I would never have thought os using a door for something toally different. A door would of been just that a door.

You and hubby no doubt have a very creative mind. I would never have thought of putting all this together. Absolutely a remarkable piece of work. At least your hall tree in my thinking should be one of a kind.

Lucky you with your handy hubby! I am sitting here giving mine a hard time for not building things for me! Heeehee! That hall tree is to die for! Do you think your hubby would make more? I am sure they would sell like hot cakes! I am glad you stopped by today. It appears that I have gotten behind on your posts too! We are on our second week of spring break and I've been busy watching extra kiddos. I've tried to stay faithful to a writing a couple of blog posts per week but haven't had as much time to visit others. Soon our schedule will be back to normal! Glad to hear your booth is doing well and that you are rewarding yourself with guilt-free cake! :) And your sweet little desk is adorable and looks lovely below your shutter shelf!
