Shabby Cottage Chic

Hello darling friends!
I have finally taken down my Christmas village...giggle!
My entryway is ready for a spring fling!
I love this chippy old aqua chair...it is overstuffed with lacy heart pillows, all shabby and old too!
Here is another sweet vignette I created to break up the large wall across from my entry way...
This cottage sign was made using a piece from an old school desk.
This little french table is just divine! I moved it out of my bathroom, it needed a new home...
 Yummy Limoges Teacup
I am still dreaming of Romance...
Have a lovely day!

I will be sharing with some other beautiful blogs so please take a moment.

I am a hopeless romantic...
Love is so sweeet
 Tattered to me is beautiful...
Candles cast the softest glow...

Romantic Shabby Bedroom

I want to share with you my pretty Romantic bedroom!
I have a four poster bed and I found this sweet drapey dust ruffle and I decided to use it over the top of my bed like a canopy, I always wanted a canopy bed when I was a little girl!
(Shhhh, I got the dust ruffle for one dollar at a garage sale)
I am dying to paint those lamps white and change the shades...
I adore pretty fluffy lacey pillows...

I will be working on my bedroom this month...check back for more pretty pictures!
Have a beautiful blessed day!

Create Romantic Charm with your Shabby Vintage Linens!

Vintage linens are one of my favorite things to collect!
I especially adore ladies handkerchiefs that whisper the sweetness of days gone by. Linens are a wonderful way to add vintage romantic charm to your cottage decor!
Feeling inspired I decided to get creative with one of my pretty handkerchiefs and create a pretty spring wreath.
So, if you would like to give this a whirl, here is how I created my vintage linen wreath!
I used a straw wreath that I picked up at a thrift store for .50 cents.
I wrapped it in strips of old curtain lace and then added a satin bow at the top to layer lace and vintage flowers on...
Next I stretched the vintage handkerchief across the front of the wreath and hot glued the edges to the back
Once this is done you can add as much lace and fluff to the top as you want!
I love lots of flluff in my wreaths...even the simpler ones!
A perfect way to use your vintage linens and create vintage romantic charm in your cottage!
I will be sharing this with
Have fun creating!
