Shabby Chic Dining Room

Hello lovelies!
This is my sweet shabby chic dining room!
I have been working on streamlining the rooms in my home.
My cottage is about 1,400 square foot.
I am a huge furniture junkie, but due to the limited size of my rooms,
I must resist the urge to overload my rooms with clunky furniture.

The vintage secretary in the corner is simply darling to display treasures in and it also works great for laptop storage and cords!
Ruffles are super popular this season...
my budget is TINY, so I used a $1 curtain panel to create a ruffled tablecloth look.
A Shabby cake stand and pitcher of flowers will always grace my table.
The back of my cabinet is painted pink.
I used plain white inexpensive plates to line the back of the cabinet and accent
my pretty rose dishes.
My chandelier was a $5 junky brass one that I found at a tag sale.
I spray painted it a cottage white and added crystals.
Mirrors and lighting are my favorite ways to dress up my cottage!
Lot's of fun playing around in my dining room!
Thank you ever so much for stopping by!
I read and treasure all of your comments!
 I will be joining

and

Big squishy hugs,
xo
Olivia

  2. Oh Olivia Sweetie...
Your cottage is just marvelous. Just marvelous darling. You have given it that Olivia touch.

Love the ruffle you added for your table cloth. Don't you just love it when we create something so stinkin cute and at a fraction of the cost? I love your secretary desk as well.

Thank you for sharing sweet friend. Have a glorious day. I so enjoyed my tour this morning. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  4. I love your shabby dining room. You have the perfect touch. Everyone always ask me if my husband minds the "girlyness" of it all. He knows it makes me happy so it makes him happy. How about yours?
Squishy hugs back to you, Olivia! Have a great weekend!
