Shabby Chic Cheap...
For those of us with expensive tastes and thrift store budgets!
I found this picture high on a shelf at an out of the way thrift store.
The original brown frame distracted from the beauty of this pretty picture..
Alas, a trip to the SHABBY CHIC BEAUTY SALON is in order!
Ta Da ...frame painted white and distressed...
Below~ in its original sad condition (note $2 sticker)...
I found a perfect spot for this darling picture by my front door
above the sofa side table...
A nice spot to dream which I have been doing a little more of lately...
Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely day and don't forget to do some dreaming...Thank you to the beautiful http://houseinroses.blogspot.com/ for hosting this Show off your Cottage party and http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/ for hosting White Wednesday! ReplyDeleteHi Olivia, I love what a little paint can do!
ReplyDeleteI bought an original painting of roses a couple of weekends ago -- the frame is silvered but a little too beat up, so i'll be giving it the spray paint treatment also.
Lovely! and two bucks? That even beats my 5 dollar picture!
