Shabby Chic White Christmas (on a budget)

Good morning ya'll!
It's time for a Shabby Chic Christmas!
I have been working on Christmas in my home, Flea Market booths and Etsy store.
I have kids, so, my Christmas decorating budget is SMALL!
~Giggles~
Sooooo, I search my creative brain high and low for neato ways to remake what I have into something pretty and Shabby for Christmas!
This pretty Marie Antoinette Christmas garland I created by stripping
the leaves off of a grapevine garland and painting the base a soft ballerina pink.
I used white pearls and pretty snowflake bows to doll it up!
One of my all time favorite things to create are wreaths!
I collect florals and ornaments from tag sales and resale shoppes until I have
a big pile.
Then I go crazy filling up a pretty evergreen or grapevine base with tons of roses and ornaments.
For this wreath I sprayed the holly branches pink to match the ornaments and bow.
I found this shade of pink ribbon in the regular ribbon section at the craft store.

I created this pretty garland from a cast off Christmas tree and pink napkin rosette!
Tutorial on this coming soon!
Isn't this frosty the snowman a cutie pie!
I added the pink scarf to give him some Shabby flair!
(We put his red scarf back on...my son said it made him look like a girl)
Giggles!!!!!
Mr Romantic fixed my computer so I am back in business baby!
Whoo Hoo!
Much more Shabby Christmas to come!
Today, I am busy putting up my Shabby Chic white Christmas tree in the living room!
I will be sharing with
My Romantic Home
and
Pink Saturday!
Hugs and love!
Olivia

    Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Yay for you. Ribbons, rosettes, feathers...you probably can whip it into loveliness for every season! Have a blessed weekend.

  5. Happy Pink Saturday Olivia Sweetie...
What a gorgeous pink share today. I love your garland, and how creative to reuse the grapevine garland, paint the town pink and add little snowflakes? Oh I love it. It is so precious and festive, and Olivia so you. I love it sweetie.

I can't wait to see the tutorial for the cast off Christmas tree. That is gorgeous and even a rosette napkin. Girl you have been SO busy.

Love that little snowman. I really thought the pink scarf was delicious, and who says that a snowman can't be a snow woman? Love it.

Your home is looking alot like Christmas over here sweet friend. Thank you for sharing. Please give me a heads up when you do your tutorial. I still have no dashboard so I can't see when anyone posts at all. I miss alot of goodies this way.

Have a beautiful weekend sweetie. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

  12. Oh! You're doing a Marie Antoinette Christmas? I'll be here for tip and tricks and hints! I want to do a Marie Antoinette's Candy Shoppe as my theme this year. A different kind of Marie, who escapes Madame La Guillotine and opens an sweet shop and gives away cake and brioche and marzipan to the poor. Her Motto. 'Let them eat Cake' of course. I'll be back to see more. New follower!

  17. Swoon...Olivia, your Christmas wreath is sooo pretty! Love your mantel decorations and everything, I mean everything, is looking fabulous! Your home is going to look delightful!
When my kids were growing up I used to do what you do, taking remnants and making them into new pretties but they were always red, white, and green. I was surrounded by men and no way would I have been allowed to decorate like this.
But today, I can do what I want because Hubby doesn't mind a bit. And I do! :)
Thanks for sharing your pretties and Happy Pink Saturday weekend to you.

    Blessings and hugs,
    Sandi

  18. Hi Olivia! I love your pretty pretty shabby chic Christmas decor! The wreath is stunning! You, my dear have some mad skillz! And your mantle is gorgeous! Who would know you were on a budget??? You are an inspiration! I can't wait to pull my pastelly Christmas decor out and start decking the halls! But pray for me, my husband recently pouted about our pink and cream tree ornaments...he wants multi-colored lights like he had growing up! AAAAAaaaahhh!!! Can you imagine?
    Take care, sweetie!
